It is about 1:30 in the morning and we are finally ready! Everything is finished and all the packing has been done! Everyone is ready for tomorrow morning, for our epic roadtrip to Finland!... Except for Isaac who has had to make a quick trip back to his second home to get his passport, as he said "I didn't think I'd need it! We are only traveling through Europe"... *God help us*
Today we picked up the camper van from WickedCampers and began filling it up with our endless amounts of bags (mostly camera gear... but of-course plenty of food for Mike!) And to our surprise, we were met with more space than what we had initially anticipated! This was extremely relieving as we were beginning to panic about, seeing as between us we had 18 bags... a bit worrying, seeing as we are all guys... but will just blame it on the camera gear... or Jimmy, as he has one bag dedicated to just his hair products!
Then, after a very important meeting with his agent, Osa had a look around the van. He was a little bit skeptical at first, but after a bit of convincing and a few treats, he gave us the approval we needed and he began barking with joy; extremely happy with his new home for the next 2 weeks!... Although he still wasn't too pleased about sleeping under the same roof as four smelly men!... But he said that he is "willing to do whatever it takes for his art"... Also, tomorrow morning Osa will be reunited once more with his family, when he is visited by his relatives (of Osa's father, Tuukka) Kaija and Miia, who will be paying him a visit before his big trip, making sure that he gets off safely.
So now that all of the packing is finished, the cameras are clean and the batteries are charged, and the iTunes playlist is sorted, all that is left to do is to say our goodbyes to our family and friends, and get ready to hit the road!... and pray to God that Mark gets us there safely and on time... with no break downs!
